Jared McDermott (President)

President/ Owner

Jared was born in California and moved to Vermont with his family when he was a baby. He grew up on our Money Hole Road farm and his mother had a small dairy when he was a kid. After high school, he moved out west and lived for a time in both Utah and Colorado. He gained experience with growing in greenhouses at an herb farm in Colorado. He has had the "salesman of the year award" for ten years running.

Heather McDermott (Vice President)

VP/ Owner

While Heather was a kid, she spent most of her time as a ski racer in the west but while in college, developed a passion for sustainable agriculture. She attended Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vermont which is not too far from the farm. She still has ties to the college farm program and regularly host student tours. She spends a lot of time with Finnegan these days but he loves working in the greenhouses too!

The Girls (The Packaging Crew)

Andrea Rocheleau and Breanna Norton are two Benson girls who have been with us since 2003 and they were 13 then! They have been a true asset to our business and we are lucky to have them. New with us this year is Tina Rocheleau.
